Participation is important to us!
​
The time together on the holiday is an opportunity to build up friendships and work together as a team, and perhaps to have a go at activities outside our normal scope. Therefore we encourage the guests to be involved in all aspects of the holiday’s activities.

Well-being is important to us!

Consumption of alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the Centre we use or on any of the Activities of the Holiday.

Link Up Holidays is a Christian trust seeking to serve the churches.
We provide meaningful activity holidays for young people in the company of Christians.
Safety is important to us!
​
During our 30 years of Activity Holidays we have had no major incidents. On this type of outward bound activity holiday we have had the normal share of minor cuts, bruises, the occasional sprain and sometimes getting cold and wet if the weather is against us! Prior to the activities our leaders undertake a written Risk Assessment exercise to identify any potential hazards involved and plan the activity to be able to minimise the risk and make sure every one is aware of them.
Co-operation is important to us!

As leaders we spend time organising the holiday to be an enjoyable experience for all involved. And as we have said we want it to be safe for all involved as well. For both these things to happen we expect the guests to comply with all the reasonable requests of our staff team, especially those with safety implications.
